The sushi boutique Ze Sushi was born in 2004 out of the home kitchen of the couple Inbar and Yves Zaruk. After spending a year in Japan, Inbar decided to start selling sushi as a temporary living. She was in charge of preparing the food, while Yves was responsible for marketing and distributing the orders. The business grew from the home kitchen until the opening of a sushi restaurant in the Basel complex in 2006. One of the secrets of Ze Sushi, apart from the fresh fish, is the rice. The restaurant pays attention to preparing fresh rice throughout the day, so that it is served with the ideal texture, temperature and flavor. Also, the sushi is only prepared once it is ordered.
