Eli Yaish, the health farmer, started out as a farmer sometime in the 1960s in the heart of Ramat Gan. The farming bug led him to an agricultural high school and from there to teach agriculture at Ruppin. Eli established his family in a farming settlement somewhere on the sands of the Sinai Peninsula and after the evacuation in 1982, together with a group of friends, founded Moshav Ein Habesor in the Eshkol Region. Now that the second generation has integrated into the agricultural business, Eli has opened a company that exports top quality fresh herbs, geranium, scallions and even gypsophilia flowers. In 2013, he started specializing in growing special fresh herbs such as papaya, broccolini, etc., and bringing the produce directly to the consumer. The produce is grown in hothouses and some even on tables. The special growing method allows decreasing pesticides by up to 90% compared to other growing methods and providing produce with an uncompromising level of cleanliness and quality. Ikar Habriut brings its products to Sarona Market stall and operates daily to supply fresh, quality agricultural produce to all consumers!
